Why do you think that?
He actually does have a beard/muffs, albeit rather sparseWell I know the white and black one isn’t, EEs have fluffy cheeks and have different color patterns. But maybe the black one is, I don’t remember her saying she got any Easter eggers. I have a bad picture of one of its siblings that I’ll add to the post
Easter eggers are a mutt and don’t always look the same. May be an olive egger which is also an Easter eggerYeah I figured barred rock cause I bought her other Marans and they look nothing alike, I can get a picture of the of the other one tomorrow morning… I don’t think she’s EE, I have a black easter egger and they also look nothing alike.
woah. Those are small! Good eye.The barred one has small muffs.
He also has the weird back of the head feathers, not sure why. He could be a mix or that’s just how his feathers areHe actually does have a beard/muffs, albeit rather sparse
An olive egger is actually different from an easter egger- an EE can lay any color (blue, green, pink, brown) whereas an OE can only lay green eggs.Easter eggers are a mutt and don’t always look the same. May be an olive egger which is also an Easter egger
