What breeds are my chickens? *new pic *

The second picture looks to me (my untrained eye) to be a Black Giant and 2 gold comets (sex links, red stars?) I have these breeds and they look similar.

The white hens with a little black in their tail and ticking in their neck look to be Delaware bantam crosses.

The little red roo looks to be a New Hampshire bantam.

The black one looks to be Black Auatralorp bantam.

And the two red/white pullets are a sex-link hybrid bantams.

With the rusty-reddish color bleeding through the back feathers on the DellieX's, I'd say they prolly have some red in their make-up somewhere down the line.

Thank you everyone! I'm not sure about the rose combs I just went out to look again, and it almost looks like one.

But thanks so much I really appreciate it!

Delawares don't come in bantam.

The bantams look like mixes to me. Possibly some Japanese Bantam in them. The hens are Red Sex-links and the black one looks like an Australorp.

I agree.

OY! If there are no such thing as Delaware bantams then how do folks on this site have some?!?!?! Look it up....

BravedarlingAthena, would it be too much to ask if we could see some side and head shots of the hens?

It may help folks come to a decision. And that is a pretty little roo there, by the way.

There are Columbian Wyandotte bantams and Columbian Rock bantams. Both look very similar to the Delaware but there are none. If you have reason to believe there are then why don't you post them yourself.

Well you need to purchase a standard because there most certainly are bantam delawares and they are in both the APA and ABA standards. Contact Dick Horstman if you think you still need proof as he has some. As far as what the white bantams are I agree with some recent posts that they are japanese, Black tailed whites, probably either hatchery quality or a mix. If they were part delaware they would have barring in their feathers.
