I have no idea is they are the japenese breed, I've looked up some pictures and they just odnt seem like it.
I do believe they resemble the delaware lots, except they have feathers on their feet and where they lived there was plenty different chickens and one hen was a cochin.
Also now that I think about it, the lady (my dads cousin) that I got them from, she said that in November 08 she came outside and found the cochin with eight little babies under her (at least I think it was the cochin) and a few of the ones I have she sad came from her...so maybe their delaware cochin mixed?
If the white bantams have feathers on their feet, I say they are probably at least part (or perhaps full) booted bantam (like D'uccles, without the beard). Many of the tiny bantams look the same to me, haha. So possibilities of OEGB, Dutch, and/or Japanese could be in the mix.
I don't know if this picture helps at all. Tonight while I am cleaning the coop I can get more.
What would be the best I could take a pic of to get these guys identified?
