Wow! I got mine at Halloween so that's... let's see... about 15-17 weeks old? When did you get yours?

Ship date October 10th. Nearly the same age.

Wow! What a coincidence, huh. I got 8 random feather-foot bantams from mypetchicken.com and got cochins and brahmas. I gave most of them to a friends and ended up with two brahmas and a cochin.

I have blue cochins from the same order that are absolutely mellow easy going birds too. Did yours end up nice and calm also?

I accidentally got a Buff Brahma a few years ago. Her name was Feathers. I was supposed to get three EE chicks and some how got two EE chicks and a Buff Brahma. That Buff Brahma now gots a daughter whose father was a Buff Orpington. I don't have the Buff Brahma herself, now, but I still have her daughter, Nalla, and she is bigger than her mother now and is the biggest hen I own. Feathered footed chickens are always fun to raise.

I did get a cochin. I'm not sure if she's black or even frizzled yet, but she is as sweet as a button.

I have a couple theories. She could have gotten cold or wet in the rain, or starved because the others pushed her away. But I don't know for sure.
