Our youngest daughter spends hours in the hen house with them. We just let them out into the temporary run for the first time today. They started digging holes right away. We have no idea what kind they are. We think the speckled one lays the green eggs.

Thanks!

Do you get white eggs?
Have you really gotten a green egg?

The two white ones almost look like white rocks.

The reddish one appears to be a production red.

Who knows what the speckled one is... but if it lays green it's an EE.

Can we see photos of their heads up close? Are you sure you get green eggs? Because the spotted one looks to have a floppy single comb, meaning it can't lay green eggs and is an Exchequer Leghorn. The rest are White Rocks (possibly) and a Production Red.

Yep. Exchequer Leghorn, White Rocks, and a Production Red. There's no way you're getting a green egg from these ones.

these are the eggs. we have 6 hens. 3 red 2 white and 1 speckled. we get 0 to 3 eggs per day total. I have no idea which ones lay what. I think the speckled lays the green, no more than 1 per day... We have more brown eggs than anything but more green than white. I think the white hens are younger.

We got them from a local farmer that just raises "chickens" He doesn't know what they are.

Your white egg should come from your speckled one. Your brown eggs come from your white and orange chickens. Your green one should come from a chicken of yours with a comb that doesn't look like a sawtooth edge. Do you have any hens that look like that?

Its comb should be small, it is probably red/brown in color (with perhaps some black here and there) and it might or might not have a beard.

this one has the least sawtoothed comb but it still looks like it is somewhat. Not a good pic but the best I have of it. I'll look closer in the day tomorrow.
