I got a mixed lot of chickens from friends, and have no idea about breeds. They are my first chickens, and the previous owners didn't know what they were either. I have a feeling one of them is a frizzle cochin of some sort? I have 2 brown chickens that are almost identical, 2 lighter brown ones, which both have varying amounts of black flecks around their necks, the white fluffball, and a black/brown chicken (who has some feathers on her neck/back that have a green/blue shimmer to them!).

Sorry in advance for such bad photos, I only have my phone to take photos with and they don't usually turn out very well!

The lighter one on the left hand side (front), is the same chicken from the first photo (my sick one. :( )

I don't know what that frizzle is. It's not a cochin, it has clean legs. A frizzled colombian rock? Probably a mixed breed.
The red birds with white tails are red sex links.
I'd just call the other red birds production reds pending better pictures.

Edited.........I made this first post on my work laptop, and now that I'm on my desktop I see the laptop was giving me weird pic quality! I didn't see the black bird as black, but just as dark red, and I thought all the pics were very dark overall. I'd say the black bird is a black sex link, or barnyard mix is always a possibility!

Looks like red sex links and a frizzle and something else.

They are probably just complete mixed breeds! I've never seen a frizzle anything before, so it was a bit of an oddity for me! And the black one is so very different to the rest (in colouring and temperament). I'll try and get some clearer pictures of her soon, but she doesn't let any humans near her, and is very very skittish, so it's hard!

Agreed. The buff looks like a hybrid that my local hatchery offers. They call it a Segitta, and it's a cross of a RIR, Cornish, and a New Hampshire. This bird could be similar.
