What breeds are we?

Here's my guesses:

1. hen - ??
2. hen - (she looks small - some kind of bantam?)
3. rooster - ??
4. rooster - rhode island red (RIR)
5. (left) rooster - easter egger (EE)
6. (right) rooster - rhode island red

A pullet is a young female chicken, usually less than 1 year old. A hen is an older female chicken.

1. crested hen
2. bantam hen with short legs (probably Chabo or cross with that breed)
3. cross rooster
4. rooster - rhode island red (RIR)- 6-7 month old
5. left rooster - easter egger - 2-3 years old
6. rooster - rhode island red

"Females over a year old are known as hens, and younger females are pullets.A rooster, also called a cock or chanticleer is a male chicken (Gallus gallus), the female being called a hen. Immature male chickens less than one year of age are called cockerels."en.wikipedia.org

My Dominique has a giant rose comb just like the example pic that dr_lukanov used, but no dark shanks. I will say that I had several others (now in chicken heaven after visit from Mr. Fox) and their rose combs were smaller-- less poochy and seemed more in line size-wise with a pea comb, though they were not pea shaped.
Obviously there can be a lot of variation; I wonder what the standard says? I am too lazy to look it up right now though!

The hen next to the Dom is my RIR and she has black on her tail as well.

Im guessing that the Dominique is just a poor example of the breed. I have a good reason to believe she came from a hatchery in one of those 'brown egg laying' assortments.

Thanks for the insight on rose combs, I never realized they could get so huge, but then my only experience with them is on Wyandottes and I always thought rose combs were all the same.
