What breeds that you have butchered have the best size and meat?

We eat ALOT of chicken. And I love raising them. I am trying to not get attached to any that are going to be dinner. Just my main breeders.

I had to pick some to cull yesterday and I kept telling them "I am so sorry" as they are looking at me from the cull cage. I have to process today. Once I am finished and they are in the freezer with no ID on them I am fine. It is just the saying goodbye stuff is hard on me. Sigh... I hope I get tougher.
 
Goodluck with your processing rustyswoman! I'm sure they will be good. I have a 18 week old Dominique resting in the fridge. He's going into the smoker this weekend. I'm looking forward to eating it. I really wish you could get chicken like this quicker. If I could, that would be all I would raise.
