Saddina-- Oh yeah I bet they do make good tamales, and BTW thanks for the fowl tamale recipe. I copied that to try the moment you posted it.
Dancing Bear-- thank you too. I think I will get some Brahmas too. I have the Dark Cornish.
We eat ALOT of chicken. And I love raising them. I am trying to not get attached to any that are going to be dinner. Just my main breeders.
I had to pick some to cull yesterday and I kept telling them "I am so sorry" as they are looking at me from the cull cage. I have to process today. Once I am finished and they are in the freezer with no ID on them I am fine. It is just the saying goodbye stuff is hard on me. Sigh... I hope I get tougher.
