Well if I can chime in here; what BYC has done for me is given me a place to go to discuss things related to my chickens with people just like me who love chickens. I mean, where else can you go and talk with so many people and get tried and true advise on this hobby (addiction)? I enjoy looking at everyone's coops and listen to what others do.
When people ask me questions about my girls I always refer back to what you all have taught me. I tell people that I am learning as I go "but I hear..."

Debi, we love you too. I can't imagine BYC WITHOUT DebiRaymond! I feel like I too, have made a lot of wonderful friends through this forum. Sometimes I think my Mom thinks I'm crazy, when I talk about something somebody said, but I feel like people here CARE, not just about what happens with chickens, but what is happening in my life. For that I thank you all.
