Appreciate the feedback from the group, wish it was better news. We have an appt at the vet on Monday to give the antibiotics a shot. She has always been super active and a great layer so hopefully she can overcome the infection.

Wanted to follow up for the sake of completeness for others that may search and find this thread. My wife ended up taking her to the UC Davis Vet on Saturday and our chicken got the full work up. Physical exam, blood test/panel, full body radiographs, and ultrasound. They suspect salpingitis, no evidence of free fluid in her coelomic cavity, they are also concerned about asymmetrical upper wing bones and feel there could be some sort of underlying cancer. Also found abnormal tissue near her stomach.

She is getting two doses daily of both Meloxicam and Trimethoprim Sulfamethoxazole via syringe down her throat, which she isn't a huge fan of. She has been acting 100% normal since her lash egg came out, eating like a maniac, bullying her sisters, and even though she's molting she actually laid a huge egg today (had to toss it, obviously). Going to just keep her happy, hope the medicine can help her, and hope for the best. Maybe we caught it in time and we'll get lucky....all we can do is hope.
