Sorry if you keep seeing me posting these threads and it's getting annoying, but I want to try to do everything I can do for my Poshy. So Posh is about 21-22 weeks old she has been limping for 2-3 weeks now and is showing no signs of improvement nor signs of getting worse. I don't think it is Mareks disease because she is our weak chicken I think she would have passed by now. She was struggling to thrive when she was younger it wasn't until she was about 12-14 weeks old that she decided to start eating. One day BAM her whole life was turned around she was starting to gain some weight so she could go outside without wasting it all running or keeping warm, she began to grow feathers and she just started growing rapidly she is still only 1/2 the size she is supposed to be. A few weeks ago she started jumping on the top perch usually I check on my chickens every night to say good night and just see where everyone is sleeping, one night I didn't. The next morning I found her limping. I brought her inside. Some days she can bend her toes and some days she can't, she doesn't have bumble foot. Some are saying it looks like a dislocated leg if so what can I do? Could it be a fracture? What do I do? I have been giving her B vitamins. I have tried a few baths with Epsom salts. I have also tried baby aspirin which did not help. She is not laying yet and I am not sure she every will because I don't know if her body developed correctly when she was younger and struggling. She is still eating and drinking plenty. I have been feeling her legs, I can't feel anything different between the two but I don't know what I should be feeling for. I was watching this video and the lady said that sometimes chickens get infections in the joint that you can't see and the chicken needs antibiotics, should I be giving them to her? Any help is GREATLY appreciated! If it is an injury will it ever heal?
Also here is a video of Poshy

I'm sorry I don't know the answer. I watched the video, and Poshy doesn't seem to be in a lot of pain, which is good -- although prey critters often mask their pain. I have two chickens who have perpetual limps -- one who had bumblefoot and one who had a stricture wound. Both lead pretty good lives despite their limps and both were seen by a vet, which is both pricey and not an available option for a lot of people.

I hope somebody has an answer for you and Poshy.

Thank you, I’m hoping I can find how to help her too 🤞
