What can I do to prevent sour crop???

I've never had to deal with it & never want to-any suggestions?

To prevent it, make sure the birds can't get into anything moldy, like old feed in a compost pile or moldy feed under a waterer or feeder. Other than that, there isn't much way to actually prevent it. You can give them unfiltered ACV in their water on occasion--sets up a better pH in the crop supposedly, but other than that, not much except watch for mold.
