What can I give my rooster for pain?

I just saw this and I am so sad. How is he? What a sweet guy defending you. My vet said aspirin is fine but the best thing for that is met cam, which is a NS AID anti inflammatory as well as pain meds . Unfortunately it is prescribed. I hope he is doing better!
