What causes a pale or purple comb and weakness?

Ive always believed that lack of oxygen causes comb to go blue or black. So heart or lungs. If its lung infection , I treat with tylan antibiotic in water. Also for heart 75mg asprin in 1 lte water for heart.
How can I find out which? She isnt wheezing, coughing, panting or anything like that. Is it safe to assume its heart?

I thought this was for worms - good to know it works on mites too! Any egg withdrawal with it? (Aurora isnt laying so I'm curious if I get some, what to expect with the laying hens.) Our feed store was out. Apparently some people are buying it up because they think it helps with covid...? 🤪

Yes, a poultry farmer told me. He said it's the only thing as spot on, for feather mites. I've always used diatomateous earth dusting, now I do both each month or so. It's the same as injectable but used as a spot on base of neck. 1ml for full size hen, 0.5ml for vanities.

Soluble aspirin in water 75g in 1 litre shouldn't harm, unless she has a wound as it thins the blood. I take aspirin each day for heart.
I see no wounds. Which is why I think the mites are feather mites. No bites but lots of feather damage. So can this be given to laying hens or will she need to be separated from the flock to get this? And can I refrigerate the leftover because it's just her drinking it?

Nice! I'd like to use safeguard (for worms) until I can try to get some in. If I can even find any. I'm really hoping the elector will take care of mites since I already bought it, but if I can't get that to work, I'll use this if I can get some. 🙂

If she is really ill, she should be separated just in case the others turn on her. Soluble aspirin costs pennies, so I would make fresh each day.

The only other thing is systemic infection which needs vet for antibiotics.
