I thought it would be interesting to find out.

I am a Verizon customer but not by choice. We were caught up in the AllTel sale and ended up with Verizon.

The 1st month, they didnt send me a bill so my service got shut off and they thought that they were going to bill me 15$ for each line as a reconnect fee. We have 4 lines.

Ahhhhhhhhhh!

I have an iphone - on it right now :p, so AT&T. I love my service! I have signal pretty much every where! We also have Sprint/Nextel for work, I'd like to take them to the people in charge and shove 'em somewhere

Service is terrible and the phones are a piece of crap! Ok, I'm better now

We have a small regional network called nTelos, but we have a national plan, so no roaming. We get fantastic coverage - a lot of times I'd have a signal when my Mom didn't (she's on T-Mobile)

and it's much, much, much cheaper than the big names

Both Anne and I have AT&T cell phones. Anne does about everything imaginable with hers.
Me?
I feel lucky if I manage to make a phone call or answer it correctly. I only have mine to keep in the car when I'm out; that way Anne can reach me if she needs to. We have a Prius with bluetooth, so the car's speaker comes on, replacing the radio's playing, when I get a call. That way I can't miss the call because I can hear the ringing loud and clear, and to make a call, all I have to do is push a button on the steering wheel and a displayed name on a monitor on the dashboard.
I can do anything on a computer, but I just can't get interested in all the other bells and whistles on modern cell phones.
BTW, Anne programmed the car's telephone system and put in all the names and telephone numbers; otherwise, we wouldn't be using bluetooth. I HATE CELL PHONES, SO DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT "TEXTING" ME.

I have Net10, its prepaid. I dont use it a lot so $30 every other month works for me. Reception is good, it uses At&t towers but their customer service is more than horrible. I call the corporate office when I have problems, which is often, because there customer service are horrible. No internet, no service because I need some kind of dumb code out of the blue, my time I purchased didnt get added (often). If there was someone else around here for the same price I would be there. I had AT&T for a long time and had not one problem.

You didn't inclulde a choice for me - None of the above - because I use Virgin PrePaid - $20 every 90 days!

In our area we still have Alltel, for now. Soon it will become Verizon, I think! I have friends that are on Verizon and the signal is weak. I hope that when it switches we have the same signal as Alltel. Because Verizon phones have never worked at our house.
