Whoa Nelly! Hope no one was injured

My chooks are pretty good about most noises, they don’t like fireworks though.

Illegal fireworks are such a common holiday occurrence here ~ after dark when the chickens are at roost the noises don't bother them. Our night skies can resemble this.

HOWEVER, during the day if the hens see a dancing squirrel scamper on the overhead wires it's a 6-hen alarm Squirrels/rodents avoid confrontations but if cornered can be dangerous & I believe the hens know this & warn them away.

Whoever the drunk was only managed to ruin the guard rail & luckily missed the street light & signal lights. The ruined guard rail keeps cars from plunging onto the pedestrian bridge that spans over the busy 8-lane freeway located below the bridge. Wisdom: don't drink & drive.

TeeHee ~ why they do that! W/ us... it's not only musical nestboxes, but musical feeding/watering stations too ~ they push each other around from place to place even in the sand box

I’m taking some time for my Coco today. She gets a spa day too. I washed her feet, checked her thoroughly for any bugs, and now she’s enjoying an ear of corn just for her (in the house so no one bothers her)

Coco has been doing really well with them. This was “almost” an awesome photo. She had all five on her back, but she started to stand up and they moved right as I took it.

Sweet purple names ~ your Violet will be my favorite since we lost our shy Shrinking Violet (sitting inside the garden bed). She was over 11 yrs old but still miss 'em when they're gone
