Hey guys, so i posted when i first got this little guy with my meat birds. Hes tiny next to them lol. Any more ideas on breed?

I'm still saying gray Ranger or barred Ranger, whatever they call their slow meat bird with barring. The hatchery doesn't send a layer for the free chick when the order is all meat birds or vice versa.

It looks like either a barred Plymouth Rock or a cuckoo maran to me, because of the distinct barring on his wings. Does he have feathers on his legs? Marans are feather legged, although some hatchery Marans aren't. My hatchery marans looked exactly like that when they were around that age. Also, Plymouth rocks are supposed to have yellow legs.

Good point. If this one is struggling in there with the piggies, you might cage him separately side-by-side so he (or she) is able to eat in peace.
