What chickens (what breeds specifically) do you have? And how many total?

5 easter egger hens
1 golden campine hen
5 dark cornish hens
3 blue andalusian pullets
5 black minorca pullets
3 turken hens
1 really old barred rock rooster
1 easter egger roo
1 white leghorn hen

Wow 25 birds! That's a good number you have there. I love Barred Plymouth Rocks. I have six of them currently. Four pullets, 1 hen and one cockerel. Also have Buff Orpingtons, Black Australorps and one White Plymouth Rock. I've got a total of 44 right now including 3 Light Brahmas I bought in Stillwater yesterday.

I'll bite on this thread--sounds fun. Though, do I really want to count? Laugh.

Original Layer Flock:
4 Rhode Island Reds
2 Barred Rocks
1 Easter Egger
3 Americaunas
1 Buff Silkie
2 White Leghorns (that matured to terrible breed standards)
1 Dutch Black Bantam
1 Dutch Golden Bantam (this is a guess)
1 Rooster, undetermined, leaning toward Easter Egger

Early Spring Additions
1 White Cochin Rooster
1 Buff Cochin Rooster
1 White Silkie Rooster
1 White Silkie Hen
1 Black Silkie leaning toward Rooster
1 Crele OEG Rooster
1 Hatchery-type Dark Cornish Hen
1 Speckled Sussex Hen
1 Speckled Sussex Rooster
1 Golden Sebright Rooster
2 Black Sex Link Hens
-- this is evidently what happens when the eldest child is allowed to pick chicks out of the bin. They all end up roos. Luckily they've established a working pecking order and life is good so long as they are together.

Meat Bird Breeding Project
2 privately bred Buckeye roosters, Ben and Jerry - who make me laugh with their personalities
6 Cornish Cross we hope are hens

Meat Birds
34 Cornish Cross

Couldn't Resist Fall Chicks, currently 3.5 weeks old
1 Golden-Laced Wyandotte Pullets
1 Silver-Laced Wyandotte Pullets
1 Red Frizzle
1 Porcelain D'uccle
1 Welsummer Pullet
2 Golden Comet Pullets
1 Buff Brahma
1 Blue-Laced Polish

Conservation Breeding Project
2 Silver Duckwing Phoenix chicks

And one Red Bourbon TURKEY poult!

Now that I've listed all that out, I've decided I'm most-assuredly crazy.

I'm seriously outnumbered here! We have seven hens, not listed in order of preference:
1 barred rock
2 easter eggers (different colors)
1 gold sex link
1 black sex link
1 australorp
1 silver laced wyandotte

Wow 82 birds in total! That's impressive! I wish I could have that many. Though as is 44 is plenty for me too.

You ever plan to get more? I'm still wanting Black Jersey Giants, Buckeyes, LF Cochins, Dark Cornish and Silver-grey Dorkings.

Yes, but I cancel my chicken math in two ways: When the weather is cool enough, a maximum of three can roost on my legs without getting pushy. I sometimes feed them treats by hand; one hand for everyone and one hand to my side for the girls at the bottom of the pecking order.

You live in the city or country?
