I just got two golden layced Wyandottes, a sliver layced wyadotte. And an ester egger, barred rock, coco maran, and a black austroplorp

I'm getting my first chickens ever! I've got a Black Copper Marans chick, an Easter Egger chick, a Barred Plymouth Rock Chick and a Speckled Sussex chick coming in 5/3. Can't wait!

Received our first chicks yesterday and gosh darn they are adorable. Ordered from chickensforbackyards.com and they arrived within a day and a half of shipping and in great condition. We ordered one each: Buff Orpington, Golden Comet, Barred Plymouth Rock, and an Easter Egger. We were happily surprised that they sent an additional Easter Egger.

They have been eating, drinking, pooping and climbing on the blocks of wood I placed in the brooder bin.

I have an order in with Cackle for 3 chicks...a Turken, a Black Australorp, and a Salmon Faverolle. If either of our Orpingtons decide to go broody, we may have some chicks from them, too.
