Its possibly to light to be blue.

to me it looks very light grey.

I think self blue is called lavender in silkies, and I agree that's what it looks like.

This one was out of some shipped eggs so im not to sure on the parent stock

I agree that it is a self-blue, which indeed is referred to as a Lavender
