What color did you paint your coop?

Purple, to match my car:

Good morning! Lets talk paint colors!
What color did everyone paint the outside of their coops?
Feel free to post a picture!

My husband built me a chicken coop for my ladies and I still need to paint it. Looking for some inspiration!
I wanted mine the color of egg yolks then settled on a subtler yellow called buttercup. D

Doors and pop door are apple red.

I was going to do the barn red and white trim. I even bought the paint. But when we bought the property last year we had to take down an old barn…it was going to fall over and wasn’t safe at all. So we reused the wood. I love the look of it way better. And because my niece got hurt by some tie wire by our dogs kennel, we painted the posts hot pink so she knows to stay away from it….just in case. We are still working on the coop as you can see.

Mine is a couple of shades darker than the trim of the house (deck, steps)... just enough that it looks like it is supposed to coordinate instead of "tried to match" or "tried to match and missed."

It is white barn paint with tint added. I picked a paint chip and the paint store guy scanned it and a base into the computer. He then put the barn paint in the machine instead of the base paint. I had to buy the barn paint first, take it outside to pour some out then take it back inside so he could add the colors. Otherwise, the tint might have been enough extra volume to overflow the bucket.

When I painted my coop last year I wanted to match my house's colors (which are kind of like Dobie's) but when I went to the home depot paint department looking at swatches, they asked me what I was painting and rapidly directed me over to the livestock-safe paints that only came in two colors, red and white. They were worried about what might happen if the chickens somehow got up and pecked at the other paints on the exterior. So I went with white. Not knowing much about paints myself, I've been nervous about exploring anything else but that paranoia of mine may be needless.
Mine has vinyl flooring on the inside of the coop, but is otherwise unpainted inside. Only painted the outside. I don't think they've ever taken a look at it though!
