What color eggs do Wyandottes lay?

Ive only had one wyandotte go broody and they are all one year now.

But ive read that they go can go broody.
some more than others but...

Oh yeah and they lay light brown eggs.

Try a leghorn (my favorite is mille fleur leghorn) for a very white egg. Wyandottes lay light brown/pinkish eggs. They make wonderful broodies. The blue wyandotte in my avatar was my best broody ever. RIP Clara. My only broodies right now are my wyandottes (her daughters).

I don't need any more broodies, so I'm not too happy hearing this lol. Maybe the neighbors need more chicks? Hopefully lol. :)

Wyandottes do not go broody, And if they do they either dont stay broody long enough or they end up not knowing what to do with the chicks(In most cases). If you're looking for a broody breed that lays white eggs silkies are what you need they are probably the most broody breed and they lay white eggs

I do want a breed that lays white eggs, but if i get another broody i will lose my mind. My Dutch Bantam is obsessed with hatching. She lays eight small white eggs and then wants to hatch again. Overall i have gotten only about two dozen eggs from her.

We have a black tail buff bantam that wants to settle on a clutch every year but we've never let her. So if its just for laying then i agree with @BlueJayFarm , Leghorns are one of the best egg laying chickens you'll see. they never go broody and they lay bug white eggs, They also come in different colors and still lay white eggs, brown leghorns are one of my favorite breeds.
