What color have some of you painted your coop

I let my three year old and his party-guests paint ours as entertainment at his birthday bash. This would really only be acceptable in Flroida, though....

My house is grey, with dark blue shutters......and I painted my chicken bldg/shed red and it looks adoreable! Nice accent for the back yard!

I tried to match the paint to the roofing, which just happened to be an exact match to the fence. It is a rust red somethingor other. All of the trim will eventually be white.

The inside is light pink Kitchen and Bath paint that was on the Lowe's Oops Paint shelf. I painted our bathroom with the leftovers from painting the chicken coop.

. I want to put cement board on the walls.. kind of heavy for me. He said he would do it for me. then I will paint it a light color too.. I do not have electricity out there yet... but I was thinking of putting a solor light for the meantime...

Cement board might be difficult to clean. I bought a roll of used laminate countertop. I have to scrub it monthly, so I am glad I installed a washable surface. Lots of BYCers use linolium on the walls.
