My Salmon Faverolle's wing is doing so well. She is holding it up in nearly a normal position. The swelling is down by 70%. The discoloration is gone. I'm so happy.

That looks a bit like frostbite. Is it freezing temperatures there where you live? It only takes a little water on a foot to get frostbite in freezing temperatures. Bruises are actually blue, red, and green in chickens. The second picture looks more like frostbite, while the first could be bruising.

It's been snowy but not freezing and there water is up off the ground. Whole coop is bedded with thick dry hay...I hope it's not frost bite /: her toe nails on the other foot were coming off wen the underneath nail wasn't fully grown so one is bleeding when I went to Epsom salt soak it is when I noticed the green toe on the other foot. It doesn't even seem to bother her.

So wether it's a bruise or frost bite I'm soaking in Epsom salt for like an hour every morning and keeping her inside. Is there anything else I can do to help? I have some dit di jow. It's for bruises, Chinese Medecine and I've used it on animals successfully before. I would help reduce the swelling and stuff?

Just gave her another soak and took pics. The green skin looks like it's starting to scab and flake a little. The black is now all the way around her nail. Feel like it may fall off /: at least it's not spreading upwards.
