He is nice! Also, what is the difference between blue and lavender in chickens?
Lavender is a dilute of black and is recessive to it.
Blue is part of BBS (blue/black/splash) genetics.😊
Lavender is very uniform silvery color. Where blue often is a gradient of color, darker around the head and neck and then lighter on the body.

Yes it does, but doubtful this color will be found in a farm supply store. Blue cream, or porcelain, is a project color that many breeders are working on but has not been accepted as an official color yet.😊

I have a light grey silkie chick named Wilow and I am not sure what color she is going to be yet. And I would love all of your opinions!

i have the same colorings on my silkys also. i have bern doing research. Some say silver, gray partridge, so i am also curious. some of my grays have black wings and black tipping on the bodies. It will be interesting to see later.

Yours look blue to me actually. Silver Partridge is the same as Gray and you will see some penciling on the wings usually. As chicks they will also often have the classic chipmunk markings, though in silvery/gray tones instead of brown😊
