Yep, I think Maggie is really pretty...kinda surprising from looking at the place she came from (most of the chickens didn't look good at all). I've actually found a pair of cochins that I ordered today...don't know when exactly I'll get them, hopefully next week! *fingers crossed*

I also wanted to mention he may be a lemon blue cochin reject?
I have not dont any research on this but I have been told on the cochin fourm that they get lemon blue cochins by crossing a blue with a partridge.
So that is also a possability. His comb isnt pure straight from what I can tell in the picture, so he may be a cross with something else?

I'm not sure what his color is, but I AM sure what his comb is - it is called "Side Sprigs". It is genetic, and it is also a disqualification if you were to show him. I would recommend getting a rooster that could bring out the best in your sweet little Maggie, not one that would pass genetic defect on to her chicks.
