It appears that it is going to be a non-dotted adult of a light color. I would have said white but white don't have a different color on top of the head. My guess is that it has a blue color gene and two no dotting genes. There is nothing like it in the Helmeted Guinea Fowl Color Chart. What color is this keet? Parents are both regular pearls.
Wow, very cool little keet! Congratulations! What color is this keet? Parents are both regular pearls.
That looks entirely different from the first picture. I would guess Lite lavender.Got a better photo today. I’m pretty sure it will be dotted, I just don’t know what the color is My best guess thus far is buff Dundotte.
I hatched the parent birds out last year from eggs I got from someone with a mixed flock with “a bit of everything!”. Of those eggs, all the birds that hatched were visually pearl grey, aside from one solid white (and as a Keet, the white was definitely all white with no patterning). So whatever this Keet is, it’s not white!
In this photo it looks like a buff dundotte to me. I see more of a tan rather than the bluish you see in lavender.Got a better photo today. I’m pretty sure it will be dotted, I just don’t know what the color is My best guess thus far is buff Dundotte.

No. Blonde is a partially pealred color (squiggly lines on head with white chest and wings) and this Keet will be fully pearled (straight lines on head).
