What color is this Muscovy duckling?

Pics
Awww. Yeah, Jewel is really losing hers now too, she's about the same age. He is still such a lovely boy, though.

My boys are also getting quite big, especially the ducknagers, as WannabeHillbilly like to call them! I think they're three months, now? And HUGE! The males anyhow. The females are small and dainty. :)
Thank you!

That’s awesome! I’m working on breeding faster growing males rn for food, it’s sad, but with how the world is going right now, it might be good to have my own meat

Here’s one of the smallest boys chilling with dad. They are almost the same size! I’m so excited

It's why I got started with the Muscovy in the first place. Then I fell in love with the colours! So now the plan is breed for colour, and the culls will go to feed me and the family.

As you said, with the way things are going, we need to start taking care of our necessities ourselves.

That’s cool! I just fell in love with this unique duck, that’s why I got them, but I know they are good for food, so I’ll probably (if I hatch some out next year) use those for cull

Yeah, it’s crazy what’s goin on in the world. I definitely plan to be prepared. I plan to start raising cattle too

Considering your avatar, I thought you had them already. :)

We'll be getting goats next year, most probably, and I'm expanding my rabbitry. Ducks and chickens for eggs and meat. My garden was a bust this year (ducks got to it!), but hopefully I'll be able to get that going better next year. Where the ducks can't get to it! :D

I own 3-ish, the rest are my parents, but 2/3 are more like my parents and mine, so I’d like to get my own herd goin.

Wow! That’s really awesome! I was thinking about doing meat goats, but can’t afford cows and goats lol.

Cattle can be expensive, yes! Especially just starting up. Thus one of the reasons for goats for me. I can do both milk and meat, and they can clear up the brush. I also don't need as big a place for them.

If I win the lottery (keep forgetting to get tickets, lol!) I'll spend it all on a farm! :D

That’s what I’d do if I win the lottery too! :)
