What color is this silkie?? Is it a self-blue?? **PICS**

I can't tell if it is a weird looking splash or a self-blue (lavender). There is a white behind it for comparison. There are 2 nice splashes in there also and this one doesn't have any "spots"...just that odd color at the back. Don't mind their topnots...they have baby rubberbands in them so they can see. They actually have HUGE topnots. These babies are 3 months old.

ohh i dont know sort of looks like my lavender (self blue ones but mine are not as old) I am the farthest thing from an expert though

ok self-blue's are considered lavender too huh? ok -off to researching again!!-just when I think I have a grip! what a newbie!!!

I bought eggs off eggbid.com from 123footie. Her silkies are separated by color and she sent a dozen ++ from various pens. She didn't say anything about having lavenders...but I didn't ask either. I will say that they were gorgeous babies with huge topnots when they hatched. I'll let her know about this particular baby.

OK...do I have to breed this cockerel to a lavender pullet to get more lavenders? It looks like I have 2 whites and 1 splash pullets and this lavender, one splash and one blue cockerel.
