When you're working on a genetic project involving lavender, the F1s don't look like the finished product. My Fi Lavender/Wheaten Ameraucanas look like Brown Red Ameraucanas... but they're NOT Brown Red Ameraucanas. The next generation will theoretically give me a few offspring with isabel type coloring.
Hmmmm.... maybe you should wait & cross her with a cockerel that has the same genetic background.
