What color is your coop interior?

You don't even want to know how I pulled that one off.

yes i do!!!

the inside of my chicken coop is white, because that's what i had plenty of when i painted it.... or.... i should say, it WAS white - now it's dusty white with added graphic chicken-poop art on the walls. time to power wash.

i would do purple! and then post pics pics pics! woo hoo!

My current plan is to do whatever blue I can find for cheap/that I have around here.

Knowing me, it'll end up with striped white and blue walls and a mural.

Why, Mr. Ridge! A sweet southern lady like me take advantage of a sick man?!? Never! *bats eyelashes* You're right, there is a big difference between a shed for a bike and a shed for a harley. The harley ('05 Peace Officers special edition fatboy) and the shed were early retirement gifts from DH's now deceased mom.
I should also add that there was a time, when the shed was being moved, that the harley...okay, I'll admit it, we're redneck...lived in the living room for a few days. I just worked around it.

Before you go thinking that he's (words I can't type on BYC), he's not. I'm buying him a bigger, better shed. It's the least I can do considering the lift (jack?) for the bike is already on the porch and the chicks, well they haven't been treating IT with respect.

Edited to correct the year on the harley. HD didn't make a P.O.S.E. in the fat boy until '05 and if my DH were to ever read this.....better safe than sorry.

Interior of the latest coop I built is "eggshell white." I couldn't believe my luck in finding that in the OOPS! paint at Lowe's! Makes the relatively small coop look larger. 4x8, with a sloped roof, 4 ft tall to 6 ft tall.

But if I had found a purple, I'd have painted it purple, you betcha! The only other OOPS! colors at the time were sick green (obvious why IT was an OOPS!) and a bunch of quart sized trim colors. I also lucked out with the exterior of the coop when I was ready to paint IT: found a sort of a dove grey.

Go for purple!!

I'm sure it has nothing to do with how you were dressed when (was it) Jezebel?? reminded you she was around the other day. Or should I say, how you implied you were dressed. You never did just come right out and say it. That's probably appreciated since this is a family forum.

I like the idea of taking advantage of what is there. Good luck with it. But may I suggest you let him pick the paint colors for the new shed since he is working with you on the immediate problem. If it needs painting, that is.

The inside is OOPS! off white. I just finished it Saturday, hung the rabbit cages and went and picked up my 2 SLW hens!!!!!!! I haven;t painted the outside yet. I have a mural woodsy scene in my head, will just have to scrape it off the brain and transfer to coop. I LOVE the purple idea. What about purple with hot pink trim??

Well actually....they did have a quart of pink trim. When I picked up that quart and held it up against the purple the look DH gave me....well, let's just say he puts my rooster's stink eye to shame.

DH is very much against white. He says white makes the poo stand out too much. He thinks a tan color mutes the poo. Oh the conversations we have had in the aisles of walmart.

AccioSarah, I like that color combination! Yours too gryeyes! What I really want to see however is a pic of columbiacritters coop.
