So I hatched some orpingtons last spring. I got all girls and I can't figure out if this girl is a rich lavender color or a blue orpington. I am torn because I hatched 2 blacks, a blue and this girl who I thought is lavender. She didn't look like the blue girl. The blue girl was a dark rick color while she was a lighter color which to me looks lavender. They were obviously to different colors in my eyes but compared to the lavenders I see online she has a very dark neck and over all color. Even compared to my blue cochins she is a different color and matches my self blue lavender silkie more. I may just be second guessing myself but I am pretty confident she is a lavender.
I have her pictured (first 2 pictures) and one of my blue cochin girls (bottom) to compare color to. I would show a picture of the blue orpington hen but sadly she was eaten by a fox before I could get pictures of her. Please tell me what you think!
