Silly question, but what color would you paint the coop? It's going to be seen right as you pull up into our parking area, so I'd like it to go with our home in some way. I'd appreciate all suggestions! I need to paint the coop itself as well as the metal roof!

Howdy! I️ custom painted my coop too. The entire coop is dark teal. The trim is a bright, complementing yellow. All the doors are cherry red. It might sound obnoxious but it actually looks really good. I️ will see if I️ can find a picture for you.

If you want to match the house, paint it as close to the house colors as possible (looks like tan with cream trim?) Or reverse it, tan trim and cream coop.

I'm doing the reverse, I had my coop painted purple to go with what I hope the house will someday get repainted to (won't be the same shade, but something in the purple family).

Looks awesome! It might be fun to paint it the same colors as your house, but use ivory for the walls and the darker color for the trim, so it coordinates but isn’t matchy matchy. If it was the same as your house, I don’t think that would be bad either. Some flower boxes would be darling under those windows if you want to get fancy in the future. :)

I like sage green walls and cream trim for it. It would be a bit darker than the human house but not bad. It would tie in with that stone chimney.

I really enjoy sage green as well (we have most of our living space painted this color) and was thinking of that for the coop! Thanks
