what color to paint the inside of my brooder/care center red or white?

To hide poop.... red

White brand new:

White 2 weeks later with only 8 birds. LOL

Chickens can magically fling poo and spray it above roosting level.... that said, best way to hide it is to paint brown. LOL

I would go with white. It's brighter and helps the chicken in the afternoon to see inside. As late as mine want to go in, if it were red I would have to use a light or they just would go in. The white in my case really helped. Anyway, my chickens poop vertical. They haven't learn to sling it on the wall so far.
