What color variation is this Wyandotte cockerel?

He is gorgeous! I’m trying to decide I have 4 silvers and one gold laced. I love the silvers. But I love a lot of the variety of Wyandotte’s

Probably wait till my pullets grow out and just order some fertile Wyandotte eggs. Will check here for reputable places to order from first. Lesson learned lol
www.rigginsfancychickens.com...she has BLRW and they are really nice birds. Got my Orps from her, She is NPIP and AI clean also knows how to ship eggs, she packes them in foam, double boxed

Ask on your local BYC board. Breeders often have extra males they've grown out to the point of deciding he isn't making the cut. Getting a breeder cull is still going to be nicer quality than a hatchery Wyandotte.

Do you have pictures of your other Wyandotte’s?
Not on my phone but I’ll take some in a bit. They are supposed to be blue but they look more silver to me and maybe not laced. I’ll get some pictures and maybe y’all can help! Since I’m still learning the color variations and what characteristics show you the difference

Here’s some pics of my girls!

See I did t think they looked blue. I knew I had the gold but the silvers were advertised as blue. When I saw them I was super excited cause I was pretty sure they were silver and that’s what I wanted!
