What color will my silkie be?

I have a 4-5 wee old silkie chick which up to this point has been all white. However I've noticed that it has some black feathers starting to show on its wings now. Will it eventually go back to all white or is it a different color all together?

It will probably be a "Splash" type...these are very beautiful, and you should consider yourself lucky! I've never been able to acquire or breed one of these in all my years of Silkie ownership

Here are a couple of my splash hens. Both of them started out almost completely white. The darker girl had a blue cast as a chick. As you can see, the splashing can vary greatly!
