Hello! I’m just super curious what color or pattern would be produced if you crossed a blue slate turkey and a royal palm? Anyone know or even have pictures?

Which is the hen and which is the tom?

If the tom is the Blue Slate, they would produce Tri_Color Mottled Blacks and Tri_Color Mottled Slates.

If the Royal Palm is the tom, they would produce Mottled Black and Mottled Slate hens and Tri-Color Mottled Black and Tri-Color Mottled Slate toms.

Sorry that is not a Blue Slate.

This is a Blue Slate.

Yours looks like a Self Blue aka Lavender.

Crossing a Self Blue tom with a Royal Palm hen will produce Tri-Color Mottled Slates.

I can't properly judge from a picture. It does seem to be on the small size based on the Speckled Sussex that is in the picture.

Do blue slates always have the black flecking on the feathers? That is really pretty.
