Hi,

We just got our first eggs yesterday. We have 5 SL's that are 26 weeks, but only 4 eggs yesterday, which i know is normal. The thing is, one of the eggs doesnt look totally brown. Its somwhere in between white and brown. What colour is it? I know that SL's lay brown eggs. We also have white chanteclers but they are only about 12 weeks and too young to lay, but they do lay white eggs... One of them has a much redder face then the other, could it be possible that it was her?? (they are all pullets) Here are som pics compared to anoter SL egg. I need to know whos laying the eggs!

My white Wyandotte lays a pale cream colored egg like that. My Buff Orphingtons lay anywhere from nearly terra-cotta to nearly white. I think those count as brown eggs still.

Unfortunately NOT every egg is going to be a nice rich brown...I have some cochins that lay a nice brown egg, but every now and then they will slip me an almost white egg.

its a pink egg or so my grandson age 5 says. Mine will lay one like that every now and then .I have RIR's. By the way he loves pink eggs

Thanks! It was a first egg, so i can see why now every so often that will happen. I can now say that it was one of my SL's that laid it!
