I am not sure why he would have a smelly head. The only things I can think of are either bad breath from eating something smelly or disease. Hopefully it is not disease-- there would likely be other signs if it were.I purchased my birds of a reputable OEGB breeder, who has many showbirds, so I do doubt that he would sell me mixed colours. I have picked up the rooster (Who was entered in the show) I really like him, he has his comb dubbed(Which I don't really agree with). He also smells kinda bad, like his head is just really smelly. What is this about? And yes NZ do follow the Australian showing standard, so thats probably what that's about. They all have blue legs. My rooster is black and white. Thanks for all the responses!
