What coop bedding is best for newborn silkie chicks living with adults?

My broody silkie hen will be hatching out some silkie chicks for the first time next week! My adult silkies' coop bedding is pine shavings, but the person I bought fertilized eggs from said that the dust from pine shavings can kill baby silkies. What bedding should I use instead? I'm looking for something that isn't dusty, that won't sicken/kill any chicks or hens who try to eat it, and would prefer something that's likely to be readily available from a feed store.

Thanks!

I am in process of switching to hemp from Carolina Coop. I like it so far.

It doesn't kill baby chicks of any other breed, so I wonder what would be different about silkies?
I don't know--- the breeder said they lost some chicks to pine shavings because of their sensitive respiratory systems. I wonder if that was a fluke or if they were using especially dusty shavings rather than the larger ones?
