What coop is this? Where can I get it?

If you have only two chickens, I'd be inclined to put the $ into a metal animal kennel structure to make a secure run. Then just find some free kids playhouse/cabinet/armoir/anything really to do some basic modifications on and use for them to sleep/lay in the secured run.

I also have this other coop, do you guys think it would be nice for the two bantams? I'm trying to keep it a bit cheap. I'll probably paint it and apply waterproof paint later.

The entire thing, coop and run, is less than 8 square feet.

That is smaller than your tub/shower unit.

The more crowded your chickens are the harder it is to keep them clean and healthy and the more likely you are to have behavioral problems. :(

I've been looking all over the web and can't find the name or a seller for this coop. Pictures below are what it looks like. I found it by browsing around ebay and I'm looking to buy a more or less smaller coop. This one seemed perfect but it's sold out. I have heard that it's better to make coops rather than buying but hey, it's better than nothing? Here are the links (two) https://www.ebay.com/itm/124664276445 https://www.ebay.com/itm/164786609313 thanks

Here's a nice book with plans for DIY chicken coops. It's a lot cheaper to build. https://b204fkj4qsj0gpd3mh56q90hbo.hop.clickbank.net/

So 6 square feet is plenty for 6 bantams and they'd only need about 20 square feet in the run.

like what mellowmalt said above, I think the coop I mentioned (the new one) is fine for my two bantams. Less than eight square feet is a lot more than the required two! (if mellow's calculations are correct) For the run, I will let them outside during the day on most days so I think it will be fine.

Plus, compared to the coop I have right now, it is A LOT bigger. I don't even want to take a picture of it cause I'm too ashamed. Even then, the bantams act pretty cool in the coop I have now. So this will definitely be an upgrade.

Thanks so much for the replies everybody! It really has helped me! :love :wee :celebrate:D

Yes, it will work for two Bantams if you don't have serious predators. You will need to recover the roof with something that will be waterproof and maybe secure the hardware cloth with better staples and change the hardware for better hardware if anything could potentially break in. They use tiny hardware that looks like it would be for a dollhouse or jewelry box.

As someone who cannot build and has done a lot of shopping around for prefab, I have found nearly all of them need to be repainted and reroofed. I protect the legs by setting them on blocks. Pawhut is not a great brand but none of them really are great. They are usable and they work fine for me because I have five large dogs (7 right now) patrolling my property. While the number of chickens the manufacturers claim is usually twice as much as they can hold compassionately, if you have two Bantams (or ten chicks) they work out okay.

Right now I am using two TSC coops that have horrible reviews on here and they have the best roofs of any prefab and are the sturdiest I've purchased and are totally adequate as grow out pens. They would be fine for two Bantams as well.
