Sorry. I just get a grin out of how many people use pin for pen - kinda like coupe for coop.

Hahaha thank you for that^ because my terminology is pen is short for penitentiaries and pin is short for pinned in.........I may be wrong though..

I always say “pen” instead of penitentiary too, when we’d drive past the big one back in South Dakota. But a “pen” is an enclosure of any kind, indoor or outdoor. A “pin” is something used to fasten a diaper, hold a seam when sewing or attaching one object to another. No matter - you say “tomato” I say “tomahto”.

I've always chuckled at pen spelled as pin too.....but it may just a phonetic spelling of a certain accent. Language can be strange.
