Things you wish you could say

I wish I could say my neighbor's trash from their porch didn't blow onto our property -- again! -- in the high winds we've had.
I was this neighbor last week 😬 I have a dumpster coming Friday so ive been staging my pile by the garage so I'm not doing the actual cleaning and hauling while the dumpster is here and we had 30-40 mph winds earlier in the week. I did go out and pick it all up the next day and text my neighbors sorry though haha

My neighbors don't do this. Ever. I don't think they have a clue that their trash is blowing around. They go out in their front yard and do not see what a mess it is.

Thats rough! I live in very rural farm country so trash has to blow FAR to get to the next property but when my closest neighbor moved in I texted them to be like please tell me if I'm ever annoying or being a bad neighbor 😂 I moved out here for the peace and I never want to be the reason someone else out here doesnt have it

I play catch and release with the tumbleweeds my fence catches. I keep my weeds mowed down. They blew in here from somewhere else.

There is a crap-ton of trash/junk on their porch. A box tumbled off in the high winds we had several days ago, and the styrofoam pieces fell out and blew onto our property.

The adults are busy, I get it. They home school 3 boys, dad is in the academy to become a sheriff, mom works part time at they gym that they help manage.

I hope they don't get any chicks this year. They're tired of taking care of the chickens. And I really hope she never decides to get a goat.

Michigan is a "fence in" state (it's your responsibility to keep your animals on your property). If they get a goat, I will tell her if it is EVER in my garden, I will shoot it. Done deal, no apologies.

They're nice enough... just ... not attentive to what's going on.

That’s why I have a to do (eventually) list.
I found a great way to handle my ever-growing to-do list. I create a "Punnett Square. Remember those from middle/high school? My "list" is divided into a 2x2 square. Along the top are the headings "Need to do" and "Don't need to do" The sides are labeled "Want to do" and Don't want to do." The bottom right block is stuff that I neither need to nor want to do. It's very gratifying to knock that block off the list right away!
