I had 2 chicks hatch overnight and one has this red thing down by it's vent. I thought it was prolapsed at first but I pulled her out and it's actually below her vent and attached to the skin. Any ideas? 20210706_074837.jpg 20210706_115916.jpg

The navel has not closed up, that's either intestines or unabsorbed yolk sac, hard to see.
Apply a little bacitracin or neosporin to the exposed tissue. Put the chick in a paper towel lined cup and put her back into the incubator. Hopefully it will retract and heal up.

Don't pull on it.
