What could this be? Not prolapse...

I had 2 chicks hatch overnight and one has this red thing down by it's vent. I thought it was prolapsed at first but I pulled her out and it's actually below her vent and attached to the skin. Any ideas?

The navel has not closed up, that's either intestines or unabsorbed yolk sac, hard to see.
Apply a little bacitracin or neosporin to the exposed tissue. Put the chick in a paper towel lined cup and put her back into the incubator. Hopefully it will retract and heal up.

Don't pull on it.
