What could this be?!

I did not figure that there were so many animals in all of the US countries. I think there are still all these animals there because America is still a "young" continent . I mean , there are also bears and wolves in Europe but declined greatly over the centuries .. Europe has twice the US population but your population will surely and greatly increase in the future and so wild animals will decrease..
North America is huge. And most of the population is concentrated near big cities. And most of the wildlife is incredibly adaptable, able to survive in a wide variety of environments.

But I think that it's better to urbanize the countryside than increasing the big cities population :) (sorry for my english!)
