WHAT DAY ?CAN YOU START...

What day can you start candling and see something in the egg? This is my 1st try hatching. I'm on day six. I can hardly wait!!!!

I usually candle 7 days after the start of incubation.

Try to wait one more day! You might see something now but it will be better to wait.

I candle days 7-10-14 and day 18 before they go into the hatcher.

Oh my gosh! What's the difference between a hatcher and an incubator? Am I suppose to have both. I thought they were hatched in the same thing.

I cnadle on day 3 you can see veins and pulsating embryo. But some wait until day 7. Goodluck, -Jay

You can use the same bator, but I have eggs set at different times so I just set up another bator to hatch in.

I candle on day 9 or 11. Then 14, and 18

So an incubator and hatcher are the same thing? You just call one a "hatcher" because you take the eggs out before hatch to actually hatch in it?

I use both LG bators. The LG that I use as a hatcher has all the little holes plugged up. It is an older model with bigger water wells.
