What day do the chicks start chirping to there mum?

I do not have any broody mums but in my incy they start aprox day 18-20 the hatch going on right now it was day 20

Ok sounds reasonably early day 18 I have heard on hatch day not before that its adorable they have little conversations

I talk to my sleeping babies since I put them in. I don't know why but I do. I hope to hear them peep back at me in about 12 days
