What day do your coturnix quail hatch?

Peering in the incubator, one of the eggs I marked as infertile hatched, so apparently I don’t know what I’m talking about. haha.

It’s a good thing quail eggs don’t explode.

Most of mine have hatched days 16-17

99% on day 18 with a few stragglers on day 19. We still run it until day 21 but rarely get any that late.

We just hatched our first batch of quail and 5 hatched on day 18. We still have 3 eggs in the incubator and we are on day 20 should I toss the 3 eggs now. I had trouble candling the eggs no matter how many torches I tried it was not happening.
