I'm supposing it would be 2 different breeds breeding...

I think I may have a bantam EE rooster.... now if had... with any of my hens would they have mutts? Then can you sell mutts?

I, too, think that 2 different breeds would produce said "mutt".
As far as selling them-- you can sell anything there's a market for. The first 12 I bought are mutts-- and they are beautiful mutts!

any breeds mixed make a mutt or what people call a designer chicken and yes you can sell them but you usaully wont make as much as if they were pure.

Selling them depends on who you are selling them to. Some people like mutts because they lay more eggs, or so they say. Some people think taste better. Some people will only eat silkies because of the skin color. To each their own.

Any bird that not's a purebred is a mutt...but they're the best kind.

EE are mutts. Showgirls are mutts. My Obelisk is a mutt even though she's completely Leghorn...she's a black and white mix.

I don't think so, but I could be wrong. Mixing colors within a breed is where new colors (such as Splash) come from.
