1. Here are some pictures at 2 weeks to show the various color patterns. I think they're some dual purpose ranger type. Also pretty sure there are a ton of roos here. Oh well.

I like to play the "what kind of chicken is this?" game too. Last year I bought a straight run Heavy Breed Assortment from Murray McMurray. As soon as I got them, I was looking a their online catalog for pictures of chick in their breed descriptions, and as they started feathering out, looking some more!

I like the pattern on the middle one in the group pic! I think you definitely have some rainbows in there.

Here's an update with my favorite roo from the group. He's gorgeous. Going to try to find a home for him because i've never seen a rooster with this pattern, otherwise into the freezer.
